Fall is in full roar and we are all working to get in our workouts! Temps are starting to dip (even in Texas) and pretty soon we will want to make sure we have indoor options for our fitness. Today we are taking it to the gym to review the Treadmill Total Fit!
Treadmill Total Fit Review
I am all about using cardio as a tool to get rocking results. Cardio (by itself) is just not really enough to get the tone and definition we want to see. I remember back in my early gym going days I simply hopped on any machine with a magazine and got going for 45 minutes to an hour. I thought I would just show up and see results!
Sure, I was putting in the time technically, but I wasn’t working efficiently and honestly did not look or feel much different. So when I discovered weight and resistance training my mind was blown by the changes I could see and experience.
Full Body Workouts
Cardio workouts are a now one tool in my fitness tool box. They are part of a larger plan that has a clearly defined goal.
So I was intrigued by the Treadmill Total Fit and was pretty excited to see what it would be like to add resistance in conjunction with my approach to cardio.
Plus the timing was perfect! Naturally I will be taking more workouts indoors in the next few months as the seasons change. I think we all do that as we see less and less daylight in the morning and after work hours. Got to roll with it.
The Treadmill Total Fit came with several pieces:
- Two Medium Resistance Bands
- Lightweight Aluminum
- Adjustable Knobs
- Velcro Straps
I’m not going to lie – Scott helped me out put this together! We used an allen wrench and a regular wrench to hold the bolt in place. All in all – it took us about 30 minutes to put it together. Not too shabby! It’s a small tool most of us have – I’m just not the handiest of girls.
But once I got it set up it was very easy to use and surprisingly very light. I think that’s huge in making the piece transportable from point a to point b.
The Set Up
Once you attach the piece to your treadmill you can easily swap out the amount of resistance you are getting from the bands.
You can easily incorporate a variety of upper body exercises to work your shoulders, back, biceps and triceps. The Treadmill Total Fit comes with a quick reference exercise sheet that features these exercise suggestions with easy to follow photos.
Flex it like you mean it!
I love that the Treadmill Total Fit supports a healthy and active lifestyle. I haven’t seen anything like this and I think it’s a great way to add resistance to a cardio workout. You can jump in whether you are a beginner or more advanced. Score!
Treadmill Total Fit is very affordable for a piece of at home fitness equipment. It can be purchased via the link below:
The cost ranges from $179.99-$199.99.
