Six Yoga Block Exercises At Home
I hit send on my new weekly newsletter last night! Are you on the list? In the email, I talked about how we always need a back up plan this time of year. While we’re trying to get back into a routine life has a way of throwing us some chaos!
Hence…these yoga block exercises can be done anywhere and are perfect when you are tight on time. You will recognize some of these moves as well. We are continuing to build our moves and my goal is to show you how these fundamental exercises you are learning can be used in so many different ways. Implements like a yoga block or some of my other favorites listed here are a great way to add resistance and increase muscle. Win-win.
Build Your Moves
I have come to see the process of working out as a learning process. For me, I always want to be increasing my “tool box” so to speak of knowledge. However, I always want to have exercises that I’m working to improve.
Building your moves is a concept that is more than just a workout. It’s a process to get you stronger. If you want to see any type of physical results focus on moving the right way and gradually increasing your weights. Push yourself when it’s time to increase. Knowing can be half the battle.

Tip from Your Trainer
Four of these exercises are about squeezing the block between our thighs to use more of the inner glute and thigh muscles. It’s an often neglected area in training and you need to make sure it’s not neglected. We want to work all the angles and make sure that squeeze is truly happening! It’s the key to making these exercises work for you.
